"Because Freedom Is Not Free"

Annual Patriot Benefit

In 2012, the Heart of America Patriot Foundation introduced their Patriot Benefit, a day-long event to honor and empower veterans.  This annual event has been hosted on September 11th each year to recognize the sacrifices all veterans have made in the War on Terror.  To date, close to $500,000 has been raised that has gone to supporting area veterans.

To name a few , the HOAPF has provided full-ride scholarships for veterans to attend the University of Kansas, and the University of Missouri;  in 2019 we established the HOAPF Veterans Fund at K-State University; we have established a $150,000 endowment at Park University called the Heart of America Patriot Foundation Emergency Relief fund; we have sponsored over 300 WWII veterans to visit the memorials built in heir honor in Washington, DC with the Heartland Honor Flight;  we have sponsored the HOAPF Patriot Roundup, where veterans with special needs can spend a long weekend on a 10,000 acre ranch hunting and fishing; we have provided scholarship dollars to University of Missouri – Kansas City, Metropolitan Community College, Kansas City Kansas Community College, and Johnson County Community College just to name a few of our educational beneficiaries.
